ROCK THAT SWING FESTIVAL 2013:
Balboa Red Square Contest

A red tape indicates the size of the dancefloor: 1 x 1m size.

Two squares for two couples that battle.

Each couple dances 1 min without permission to get over the line. Two couples compete at same time. If one steps over, the couple gets out, if both stand a minute, public's applause decides.

Winner is the couple with the most rounds they could stand.

I never made any Swing Dancing competition before...

That night we were 6 couples to compete.

At the beginning, I did not find a lady who wanted to join the battle, but then Reinhild Rossmann from Ulm and me were lucky: we made the second price winning the Balboa on the Promenade Festival in Cannes this upcoming May 2013! This was so much fun and such a lovely surprise!
