Peter Keeley JEREMIAH The Latorre Brothers Band - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 19, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
The Latorre Brothers Band formed in Melbourne early in the 1970's and included the infamous Latorre brother singers, Dom (Dominic), Tony, and the youngest gruntiest singer Mario. Guitar lines were provided by Wayne Copelin and Ross Hoskings. The rhythm section combined the legendary talents of Bryan Cole on drums and Peter A. Keeley on bass guitar.
The band toured the East coast of Australia where the B side of the single THAT GIRL eventually exceeded playtime of the A side JEREMIAH due to the emergence of the disc phenomena. Other previous recordings of the bands music were carried out at RAMBLER Studios in Mt Eliza, an album was recorded and pressed but no copies have surfaced to-date.
Once touring the band name was changed to STAX and labelled as 'Australia's hottest new band'

The forth Latorre brother, Gino performed in the original Australian release of the live stage performance HAIR and was best known for the Australian release of the 50's style dance song Happy Days.

Just a quick note that the glitch approximately mid way through was an actual scratch in the record which made the record jump. Some ancient terminology for those who know the failures of the technology of that time. Records scratched and tapes hissed. Please enjoy.
