DESCRIPTION:
The 13th Annual Watermelon Park Fest will take place September 22 through 25, 2016 at Watermelon Park in Berryville, VA. The weekend will include performances by the Sam Bush Band, David Grisman Sextet, the O’Connor Band feat. Mark O’Connor, Sierra Hull, Bruce Molsky, the Revelers, Town Moun-tain, local favorites Furnace Mountain, and the Woodshedders, plus many, many more.

Located on the banks of the Shenandoah River, Watermelon Park has been the home of Shepherd’s Ford Productions events for twelve years, with the inaugural Watermelon Park Fest in 2004. In addition to the performances, the festival also offers a variety of workshops, as well as activities for children. Festival
goers may also enter one of three contests: the Eastman Mandolin Pickin’ Contest, the Fairbuilt Guitar Pickin’ Contest, or the $1000 Band Contest.
