DESCRIPTION:
"Chalk4Peace" is a very simple, fun and inexpensive grassroots event organized by Sathya Dhara and Kisa MacIsaac. The event is free for the community which raises awareness about global peace and takes donations for War Child Canada. All entertainment is done on volunteer basis in order to raise as much for the cause as possible. Musicians play in the park setting while the public enjoy and write/ draw peaceful messages on the concrete sidewalks with chalk. This is not a political event, just a peaceful one that puts our city on the map and brings people together to be creative and peaceful/ playful.
