January 16th, 2013 Bryne Rene and Josh Fonshaker join forces with Patricia Hottel at the beautiful and fabulous Eyes of the World Yoga in Providence RI in efforts to raise funds and awareness towards a fellow yogi having to deal and battle with cancer. This was an evening of coming together to help those in need and in times of struggle when faced with personal struggles and challenges. When in need you can count on others in your community to come to your side no matter what type of challenges may lay ahead.

This was an evening of providing live music during a yoga practice which offered that much more energy, live sound, intensity, intention, and focus in the moment. All who were present were taken to that special place while engaged in a practice that not only pushed you mentally, but also caused you to become more consciously aware of one's intention on personal form and growth through live, in your face music created, produced, and provided in the moment to remain motivated and driven.

Bryna René is a yoga instructor, musician, and chant artist who brings her lifelong passion for music to light through performances around Rhode Island and the world. Playing harmonium, guitar, and various other instruments, she offers prayers and song in both Sanskrit and English. In addition to traditional kirtan, Bryna also accompanies yoga classes and workshops with music and improvisational vocal performances. She has performed with Wade Imre Morissette, Craig Kohland (of Shaman's Dream), and Sita Devi, among others. To learn more about Bryna, visit her web site at www.brynarene.com.

Joshua Fonseca began his love affair with music in general and drumming in particular over twelve years ago. A native of Cranston RI, where he still resides, his repertoire has expanded over the past few years to include the hand drum, didgeridoo, Tibetan singing bowls, the gong, and other transformative instruments of energy work and vibrational healing through sound. He is one half of the sound performance duo SoundScapers, who offer multiple therapeutic sound bath sessions on a monthly basis in various venues throughout eastern/southern New England. Other services provided through SoundScapers has involved drum circle facilitation to church, corporate, and private clients, musical performance, hand drum workshops, event coordination, worship service quest presiding, and personal musical instruction lessons. Josh has been involved with the hand drumming community in Southern New England for over 7 years where he has stepped into a leadership role and has also hosted a monthly drum circle since November of 2009 between Providence and Cranston, RI, knowing that music partnered with community has the power to save lives, empower souls, and ultimately redirect one's personal life path for the better.
