DESCRIPTION:
collection of pics intermingling with photos from 2 of my 3 shops in kensington; Burlesque, which was located where Grilled Cheese is today, and RRustic, at 148 Augusta, a few doors down from our beloved Caam's hardware...For a decade i made Kensington Market my HOME. with 3 shops in the are i lived and worked and played my shows, as well as putting up a couple Directory Boards i designed, that are now used at a few of the entrances to the community and spent over 1000 hours in all that time doing volunteer service including helping pioneer the first of the pedestrian festivals (with my first shop Burlesque), and then coming back later (with Rrustic) and helping extend the festival all the way down Augusta past the park to Dundas where Rrustic was located. Like any area there is shadows, yet the amount of LIGHT that took place while i was there far outweighed the over all struggles...loluntil that is the ECOSTORM of 09 that kicked my butt and i lost Rrustic, my home, and eventually took our my health as well, which i am just now recovering proper from. I was asked if i would do it all over again, the answer is YES.

Kensington Market is our Home, and once you have made it your home, you know what they say, HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS~!
So no matter how far i go, KM will always hold a bit of my heart~!!!
