Vick(i/y) is a solo prepared piano piece written by composer Andy Akiho and is the closing work on Vicky Chow's latest solo album 'A O R T A', released recently on New Amsterdam Records. The bell-like prepared notes pulses throughout the work from the opening strum to the very last note of the work, persisting between consciousness and a dream-like state, representing a consistent yet fading mental image. The video is a first collaboration between Akiho, Chow, and Gabriel Gomez (Crooked Letter Films).
