The Dragon Dance (V.B.)/White Room (Cream arrg.V.B.)-Ovation Legend 1867.AVI - Video

DESCRIPTION:
2011, 12-9: The first part of this is an original song I wrote around 2003ish (I believe). It's called The Dragon Dance It's a commentary on the 'power of the imagination', as well as advocating a NON drug lifestyle. In 35 yrs of playing music, I can say the words, "I've never used drugs in my life". This is not to say that I don't have a taste for another frame of mind, however I get there by natural, meditative means and not unnecessary chemicals. When all you rely on is a lifetime of practice, love for music, sheer will, conviction, passion... You just have to BELIEVE. Believe in yourself, believe in your art. That belief can transcend incredible amounts of BS. :) Granted, we all chose our paths... This is mine. On the other side of that, I would be a liar if I said that a great deal of the music that HAS inspired me or motivated me was, in fact, created by those who chose the 'other path'. In any case, I thought it would be fun to include an arrangement I came up with for Cream's "White Room" some years ago. On a techy note: Please excuse the bassy quality (Line 6 AX212 amp ) sound. I'm still trying to figure out the best set up. Guitar is a '98 US Ovation Legend. (love the Snark!)
