In the right hands, a well placed minor blues lick will decimate whatever it is your playing over especially when you apply some liquid mercury-like legato to it. No one, but no one could deliver this sound with more vibe than Dimebag Darrell, who by the way was a Texan rife with gutteral blues inflections in his playing. The lick at hand is classic Dimebag and recalls the descending genius he shot out in "Revolution is my Name" from The Great Southern Trendkill. Loaded with smartly placed pull-offs, his 32nd note sequences sound as smooth as butta!
