Hah, very much surprisingly as to this is debut album from Vesterian who are existed since 1997 or longer than that with the name of Centurion in 1994. Damn, its a bloody long period of times till they have managaed to unleashed an album. Well I guess they have more comfortable with Demo instead of an album hahaa.. Yes indeed and they have unleashed quite big numbers of Demo which total almost 8 releases. Anyway an album is an album and demo is a demo. Its totally different in term of presentation and approached. An album seems making more fans confident on the band itself. Demos is somekind of preparation for every bands before entering to the wider scales of metallic music. Well it doesnt means that Demo is not important but as for me an album is better hahaa.. Ok, nevermind about that and lets focus on this album which unleashed back in 2013. Anthems For The Coming War Age is a BM stuffs to be specific. Hmm.. the music sometimes reminds me of the old days of BM from the great bands like Mayhem(old), Immortal, Marduk just to name a few. That times everybody very much excited to play such styles and I guess it doesnt stop till these days hahaa.. Vesterian seems still loyal to the old style and I think it still the same sounds from their debut Demo 1997. Hah, nothing much to say as this is the most familiar sounds and style that every metalheads knows very well. Blastbeat of drums. Fast speed destroying riffs. Evil screaming vocals. So as to this album which you can have all this in the same formula and feels. I guess all of their experienced and skills throughout almost 20 years in the scene have been poured in this album. So you have 9 sinister trax which will devastated all the human minds. Hah, very much tight compositions and of corpse this classical BM sounds so prominent when it was been played in this modern days.
