The Beatles are credited with lots of sonic and musical pioneering throughout the 1960s, but we can't forget how effortlessly they created simple ballads, as well. "Michelle" is one of those such ballads that, on the surface, seems elementary. But dig a little deeper, and you'll find that there's much to learn. Though McCartney played the song with a capo, Joe goes through teaching a rendition in standard tuning with similar chord voicings, for a more full bodied solo performance.
