HE rocks like a classic '70s mutha, laced with intoxicating amounts of exotic licks.
Uri Brauner Kinrot's concoction of alcohol and sugar, East and West, is designed to
provide you with a psychedelic high, and to send you on a journey in time and space.
Ouzo Bazooka has been playing extensively in the past year, gaining local crowd and
recently played with the Pixies and the Hives in Tel Aviv's football stadium.
UBK's highly-anticipated debut solo album is the creation of a mature musician young of age
(b.1979), who already trotted the world with his chart-successful drunken-wedding Balkan surf guitar-tuba-drums power trio Boom Pam. He also played, recorded and toured with New York City's world punk heroes Firewater, and his guitar style has helped shape the influential sounds of Balkan Beat Box and Shantel.
Last but not least, Kinrot recorded with Macedonian Romani brass band Kocani Orkestar.
With the various above mentioned bands, he tapped his feet and shook his head at major festivals such as Roskilde, Glastonbury, Exit, WOMEX, Olinkan (Mexico City), SXSW, Sines (Portugal), Global Fest (NYC).
