Timeline :
date unknown, but circa 1998 AD - Brandon and Travis started jamming together
June 2006 - Nate joined the trio to jam and shit
soon after Nate joined - Brandon began partying overzealously, causing him to lose dedication, which left just Nate and Travis jamming and bullshitting
August 2006 - Brandon rejoined the troops and has since became an extremely dedicated member, and the trio began to write some killer tunes.
nothing became of the months of jamming before, other than friendship and a little more chemistry as a band.so it is safe to say that the band was formed in August.
mid August 2006 - while the band still lacking a name, writing songs here and there, they (Brandon, Nate, and Travis) had an experience together that was so shocking and so bizarre, they choose not to release it publicly yet, and from this story, they weilded the name "Under the Canoe".
October 2006 - the band had tried out many a singers and bass players, still not finding quite what they were looking for.little did they know, Blake would come to try out, and impressed them so much, that any further tryouts left them with a sense of lacking
October 17, 2006 - it was unanimously (among the three prevoius members)decided that Blake would be the singer, and Gibby (a close friend of the band, who had been playing guitar for 2 years or so) would be the bass player.
and then something really tragic happend, and they continued their search for a singerbio TO BE CONTINUEDhahaha
July 2011 - Under the Canoe headlines Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, and many other bad ass tours thanks the the loving support of fans, and shit.
