Teatherball Champion dates back to the summer of 2001, when Billy Webb began writing songs and recording them. At that time, the project was titled "Morning Side", and 2 albums were recorded: "Five Finger Refund" in 2001, and "Locomotor Ataxia" in 2003. Both were self-recorded. Morning Side was then renamed Teatherball Champion, and further writing ensued. A third, acoustic, album was then recorded, titled "Red Means Yell Shit and Hit the Brakes", in 2005. Later that year, Teatherball Champion then blossomed into a full band, and continuously played shows until the summer of 2007. After a necessary hiatus, the band is back together, with a few line-up changes, and has plans on re-recording some earlier material, as well as recording some newer material.

Teatherball Champion is also currently searching for a stage drummer. Anyone who is interested, please send inquiries via this profile, or email tbcband@gmail.com.
