Art versus Reality versus The Soul is the slogan of Pine Tree State Mind Control. What does that mean? Really, it depends on your definitions. For us, Art is anything created by humans that is meant to influence others emotionally. A painting is art. A ballet is art. War is art. You might say that this newsletter you're reading is art. Reality, then is something that exists outside of that, yet more concrete. One way of thinking of it is that while art is on television, reality occurs outside of television. Reality is health problems, bills, work, arguments with family, the price of food, the condition of your clothing, and so on. I think we all understand reality. There are very few ways to escape it, and one is art. Another is the Soul. Through the years people have come up with different names for the Self. The Soul is what makes people different. You could call it individuality or the Ego or whatever you want. These three components are at war with one another. Art tries to repackage or distill reality, while it tries to alter the Soul. Reality forces itself into art (you can't enjoy your favorite music while your house is burning down, for example) and can disturb the Soul. The Soul, under fire from these two, works to free itself from that oppression.

Pine Tree State Mind Control comes down squarely on the side of Art. What is reality when we can insulate ourselves from it so well? And the Soul? A meaningless construct. Individuality is a waste of time. Think of people you know who force their individuality on you. Irritating, aren't they? Give up! If we were all passive, there would be no problems. Pine Tree State Mind Control uses Art to influence the Soul and, through that, Reality. When Art wins, we all win. By enhancing Art through the liberal use of subliminal imagery and messages that insinuate themselves into the subconscious, the world can be changed that much easier.
