Tony demo's the Fender Standard Telecaster through a Vox AC15 and a few pedals. Available in a huge range of colours and with maple or rosewood fingerboards.

A Fender Telecaster is a great all rounder and has been in continuous production since the early fifties. There exists today a plethora of Telecasters to tempt each and every one of us, from the budget friendly Squire range through to Custom Shop exotica.

The Mexican range of Telecasters, of which again there are many, offer a bridge between Fender's Squire and USA Standard range. This guitar is the revamped Fender Mexican Standard Telecaster and comes with some useful and tasty updates.

The body is made of Alder with a polyester finish, whilst the C-Shape neck is one piece Tinted Maple with 21 medium jumbo frets and black dot markers. The headstock carries a new bolder 70s style Fender logo and six die cast sealed machine heads. At the opposite end of the instrument the bridge has six individual saddles that are fully adjustable for height and intonation.

Guitar strings pass through the body and are anchored in small metal ferrules on the back of the body. The scratch plate is 3-ply WBW (White/Black/White) with a new parchment finish. Two hotter single coil pickups are operated by master volume and tone controls and a three way blade switch and all hardware is chrome plated.
