Had a blast adapting George Martin's beautiful string arrangement of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" for woodwinds. George revolutionized string micing, demanded 14 takes, and wrote some slick minor scale variations in relation to the lyrics. A true musician/engineer/producer! Also love the fact this song transitioned the Beatles from a pop band to a band not afraid to be darker sonically and lyrically. Great history behind this incredible song!
