Twissman

Hailing from South London, Twissman is a rapper with an insatiable appetite for success and a determination and work ethic to match.
As well as receiving regular support from Radio 1Xtra (session on DJ Cameo show June 2010), Twissman’s videos have received heavy rotation from every urban channel and his tune ‘The Way She Moves’, achieved coveted No 1 status on Flava & MTV Base March 2010.
Having already performed on countless recognised urban stages including Notting Hill Carnival and the circuit in Aiya Napa, 2010 has seen Twissman tour UK schools in a bid to inspire and motivate children from under-privileged backgrounds. Having grown up in an environment dominated by gang culture, Twissman has experienced gang related crime and violence all his life. His aim is to spread the message that whilst very easy to fall into that lifestyle, everybody has a choice. “Set a goal and stick to it and you can be anything you want” is a motto he himself adheres to.
Having secured a recording contract in June 2010, Twissman has recently completed his stunning debut album ‘This Is Twissman’ which features collaborations with Sway and G-Fresh and is produced by the acclaimed and award-winning Laurence ‘Woo’ Allen (10 years Death Row USA /Suge Knight / Destiny’s Child). The album, set to drop in 2011, is full of hooky urban pop yet still manages to maintain an edge with integrity that only Twissman could bring given his background in the UK Grime scene.
This is all summed up perfectly in the debut single from ‘This Is Twissman’ entitled ‘SUMO’. With its electronic synths, contagious vocals from Ginny B and Twissman’s unmistakable rapping skills the single ‘SUMO’ and the stylish accompanying video, are hotly tipped to take radio and television by storm!
