DESCRIPTION:
Mentem Recipere will be released through Le Crépuscule du Soir during the fall of 2011.
"Ascensus" is the 6th track on the conceptual release and pictures the return to the world above.

Mentem Recipere is dedicated to Embla (2000-2011) whom always stood by my side, brought me oxygen when I could not breathe and led me through the dark nights with her light. You will always be by my side in spirit.

All music was written and recorded by Turdus Merula during the winter of 2010.

I would like to thank Ulf for recording the drums and for his guest appearance with vocals on Ascensus, Árni Bergur Zoega for mixing and mastering the music and LCDS for believing in Turdus Merula.
