Finland´s country scene is not too wide. That´s why it´s so glad to find good bands. Huojuva lato is one of the best at the moment. Songs of Suonna Kononen (Korpraali Kukkakaali, Tuhatkauno, Folkswagen etc.) captures the life and true athmosphere of the Easter-Finland people and homesick karelians all over the country.

Huojuva lato really touched me at the Blueskatu Järvenpää. Raised and school in Lieksa and Joensuu - hmm ,maybe that´s obvious...

May the force be with this band. Finland need to have decent country bands singin our mothertongue.
