DESCRIPTION: At the beginning of the week we had SIX Blue Tit chicks already to fly and that was the case until yesterday morning when gradually one was suffocated by the others and then today we just had four then three. So in order to avoid the predators, they were staying inside despite the best efforts of Mum to get them to follow her and fly away. Yours truly took nature under his wing and placed the nest then the three remaining chicks on the bird table roof. Only one survived, who about two hours later flew into the office which is 45m away, offering me a caterpillar. I declined of course. Oh here comes Peter, the pheasant to see what all the fuss is about!!
