Inspired by the free format dance clubs/cyphers of LA and San Diego, this mix of soul, funk, breaks and some of LA's finest hip-hop artists was done strictly live on 2 turntables and an 07 Vestax mixer. Part protest, part party rock, all of the tracks originate from the African diaspora and are "music for the soul, not just for sensation."
