INDEPENDENT RECORD LABEL EXPECTED TO SELL OUT MAJOR NEW YORK CITY VENUE

New York, NY (May 25, 2010) - New York City based record label, 316 Music Group, announced last week an exclusive booking agreement with Highline Ballroom as a host site for its Summer 2010 Artist Showcase. The showcase, which will take place on July 15, 2010 in Manhattan, NY, will serve to be a historical night for music as immense amounts of fans are expected to support a music movement unforeseen by independent record labels since the beginning stages of Rocafella Records.

After selling out the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY earlier this year, 316 Music Group will once agian highlight the enormously talented acts L.I.E. and Lauren Legato, and have now added 316 artist Takemia Haze. The high intensity, unique, R&B/Urban rock acts are already beginning to impact radio in the US and overseas and have been instrumental in reigniting New York City's love for live performances. They have thrived in the most competitve market in the world and will now grace the same stage as music legends Stevie Wonder, Nas, and 50 Cent.

About Highline Ballroom

Highline Ballroom—former home to dance clubs Power and Glo—has the fairly dubious distinction of being located next door to a Western Beef supermarket. But indoors, the spartan 700-person-capacity space distinguishes itself with exposed beams, lounge-worthy lighting, and a column-free main floor with great sight lines from both the wide downstairs area and the carpeted balcony. Bookings are consciously eclectic, but overall reflect the evolved vibe of the neighborhood with hip-hop acts, mellow songstresses, and veteran critical darlings. Owner Steve Bensusan (of B.B.
