Happy Halloween everyone! We may be too old for trick-or-treating, but we can still show our Halloween spirit in other, more suitable ways (for our age group). I cannot think of a better way for a group of gaming musicians to spread the spirit of the season than by covering tracks from of one the most nostalgic, Halloween-related gaming franchises -- Castlevania! Instead of focusing on the classic Castlevania tracks that have been deeply engrained in our minds from our childhood, we decided to present some more recent, unfamiliar tracks from the series. Working with tunes from the newer games kept us honest to source materials; as these tunes tend to not be covered, we had to spend a lot of time writing out transcriptions. Despite being extra work, this gave us the opportunity to go through the parts one by one, distinguishing the best possible parts for our group's instrumentation. We're really happy with how this turned out, despite doing much of the work in less than a week!
