Trell Ratliff started out as the singer of Head of State but is now workin on his solo projects. He began writing music at an early age and thru out his highschool years and college days, all he ever focused on was the music. He claims to be birthed as a musical artist in 2000 after TP-2.com. "TP-2.com was the album that made me decide music was my calling. R.Kelly birthed me and raised me into this music industry. Sam Cooke ordained me, Johnnie Taylor grooved me, Ron Isley soothed me, and I accepted the blessings, the callings."



During his stay in Decatur, GA, Sin-City Record label discovered his sound as a uniqueness. Til this day, Balladz and SinCity has a strong relationship and has projects in the work. TrellBalladz also has been networking with Message from St. Petersburg, FL and Alabama DJ Daddy RICH.
