“The Message”( Born Antoine Moore) is more than just an Artist. He is a Mogul, Cousin of HIP-HOP LEGEND MC Lyte, “The Message”, was born in Queens, New York. He is the oldest of 6 siblings. After the passing of his Great-Grandfather to sickness and his younger sister as a cause of a horrible traffic accident that was a sign to do something with his life. At a young age his life was moving fast, and only doing mediocre in school. He claims “I was always trying to fit in was with the wrong crowd at times and always wanting to know why”. As a teenager he struggled through a lot in life, after he disciplined himself, studied and stayed focused, he got his life together and was ready, he graduated High School which was his first goal in life and then he set his life on his dream. He states, "Even though schooling was not for me I did it for myself and my family”. "It took me a while to get my life together but I did and it was the greatest thing I could ever do". Always loving music he decided to do the one thing he's always loved. Now older and moving to Florida in the late 90's he had seen a lot throughout every coastal region. That helps him with his music. Message began writing music in 2002. Before his solo career took off he created a rap group called "The New Era/G.U.N.S. (Gangsta's Under New Society)" with good friend Saul Serrano a.k.a Castro Tha General and others. He claimed the moniker "The Demon" he didn’t have focus on music, just wrote with his group, but noticed he was the most focused in that camp at the time and decided to go solo after only 2 years. He states “We are still brothers now, some just weren’t as focused and I realized I was better on my own as an artist with many ideas & topics I wanted to talk about, I could not do with the group at the time so I decided to get chase my dream”. Then after changing his name to "The Message" in December 2004 because of his message in his lyrics and a message he wanted to see all around the world. On June 23, 2005 on his birthday instead of going out, instead of celebrating, he sat in his room and learned how to read bars, read books on the music business, and made the biggest step in his career, studying the art of Hip-Hop and developing himself as a artist and as “The Message”, a hold of Hip-Hops next generation that album is the birth of a new legend, over 166,000 plays on MySpace, over 28,000 friends and 126,000 views. “The Message” will not Stop. The hustle, the dedication, the drive, the heart, all of those qualities define “The Message”. He has always been a student of the art, He States" I grew up off of all sorts of r&b & Hip-Hop i learned a lot from all sorts of Genre of music listening to Nas , Jay-z, Talib Kweli, 50 Cent, Notorious B.I.G, 2pac, Scarface, Common & Plenty of others". Music is all that Message knows and as a artist he promises to bring a original form that Hip-Hop has never heard. The Message Is A Up & Coming Superstar! He Says " As A Artist i am not stressing over being 1 I strive to be the best in all i do but i do not stress over that 1 spot i feel it doesn't have to be said if you have a craft you strive in". The Message is someone that is very determined, very thoughtful, very honest, and is a person that Hip-Hop Needs. Overall everyone will know Who & What The Message is when he decides to retire.
