DESCRIPTION:
A polite word of warning, this is just a video of a vinyl record playing from start to finish, nothing more nothing less. It may be quite boring to some.
For best results use a nice pair of headphones to really hear the vinyl.
Using a different angle and a different camera again this time, please let me know what you think. This is a rip from a 1988 LP that has been in the family since new. I personally have played the groves off this LP, so it is probably past its best. The video and sound were recorded separately and I edited them both together. So please excuse me if I have miss timed the start/finish. The video I have had to extend because the first time I recorded the image and sound the LP was so dirty it skipped a few times. The image is that of the skipping and the sound was recorded 24hrs later after a pva glue clean and it worked perfectly after that.
I played the vinyl on my standard AR XA turntable into a DJ console mk2 and recorded the track as a 320 kbs mp3, this was the best the software would let me do.
I am planning to do more of these videos, as boring as they may be, I find it quite relaxing.
I am not an expert at recording or setting up my turntable so any helpful tips will be welcomed. Thanks for watching. :-)
