Cursed Sun - "Unleashed" Official Music Video

Artist Biography: Cursed Sun are a five piece metal band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Formed in November 2007 jointly by Andrew "Jones" Cassidy and Bryn Boothby, they quickly recruited Jonny McCleery and Ciaran McKeever who have formed the core of a solid line up ever since.The goal was to write original material incorporating a mix of genres from progressive to thrash, mix of brutality, speed and power but to try to incorporate melody and the unorthodox into their songs as well.

In Aug 2009, Cursed Sun opened up for thrash legends Onslaught and have since received high critical acclaim with every live performance, gaining a higher fanbase throughout N Ireland's metal community. In Nov 2009, they launched their debut EP entitled 'As Seen Through The Eyes Of The Dead' which they recorded at Einstein Studios in County Antrim.

The band's original drummer Paul "Pablo" Houston departed to pursue academic studies in September 2009. 2010 started with Cursed Sun on a mini tour of South England in Feb with which they received so much positive feedback from new fans and promoters. A music video for 'Look Into The Eyes Of Chaos', was shot in Feb through 'Stay Beautiful Films' which has received some promising feedback.

In June 2010 the band recorded a new EP �No Order In Existence�, again at Einstein Studios, and this was launched in August of the same year. It showcased a much heavier sound and the band had more time to spend on production. The band recruited a new drummer, Chris McMullan, in August 2010 and returned to England in November for gigs in Bristol and Cheltenham.

In October 2011 Cursed Sun began work on their first full album "Premonitions" at Einstein Studios. The 10 song collection is the band's definitive work to date and Cursed Sun will be promoting it throughout 2012 across the UK and Ireland.

About The Video: The idea behind the video was to link in with the artwork from the album PREMONITIONS. Set in a time when the whole world has went to shit. Post apocalyptic. That’s why we have the gas masks in the video. We shot the video back in February, with two elements against us; the cold weather and also time was not on our side. We shot all our performances in one night, and a few months later we went back to the venue to film what was to be the story element. We had great shots of the smoke that where gonna be cut into the video, throughout the band performance. In the edit, Brian and Bill didn't think that it flowed right, so we decided to have the smoke ‘monster’ open up the video instead, to set the tone. We had a great time filming the video and i believe the look of the video is exactly what we were going for. Gritty and raw.
