Toyin Adekale (pronounced TOYING ADD-EE-CAR-LEE) has been on her journey since that realization all the way back in 2003. This awakening saw her departure from the world famous group Boney M featuring Maize Williams with whom she shared the stage with for 13 years touring and singing for Kings & Queens, Presidents & Prime Ministers, dignitaries and audiences across the world.
With her roots firmly established within the history of Lovers Rock, Toyin also collaborated with just about every main stream Reggae Artist from JA to Africa.
God caught her, challenged her and changed her through his love, mercy and grace. As part of that process he had to remove her from everything that was comfortable "God brought me to America, to reveal to me my void and so the process began. "
"The Storm Is Over -- Sunshine's Here", reveals to the listener an insight of what God has carried her through. "The tears of joy, gratitude and feelings of being blessed are overwhelming, this track captures a time when I was really going through it", she says.
This beautiful gospel reggae recorded and mixed at III Chronicles Recording Studios in London, England. Produced by Stuart Green and Yvonne Agbandje and mastered at the famous Gussie Clarke Anchor Studios in Jamaica. May you be rocking and praising God, all at the same time!
