And heres a trailer for the bonus DVD. Hella interviews, music videos, live graf footage and performances by TOPR, Conceit, Delinquent Monastery, Thunderhut Project and 10 + min turntablism set by DJ Quest.

A freestyle master who started rhyming in 1988, TOPR burst onto the San Francisco scene in 1993 as Top Ramen. Quickly gaining

notoriety in battle circles, he consistently embarrassed the competition with his quick-witted lyrics and scathing delivery.

TOPR joined the the Hip Hop collective Earthlings in 1996 alongside

local favorites Safahri, Boac and D.J. Bootleg, he helped build the

crew's reputation as dynamic live performers opening up for such hip hop legends as KRS ONE, LL Cool J, De La Soul, Kool Keith, Goodie

Mob, Mix Master Mike, Z-Trip and many others.

The Earthlings also toured as an opening act on national tours with

Living Legends, Hieroglyphics and Xecutioners as well as

participating in many large hip hop festivals such as the Broke Ass Summer Jam, I.T.F., Lyricist Lounge and headlining their own F*ck Pop

Convention.

TOPR proved his freestyle abilities time and time again, opening up

unassisted for Latryx, Rakim, Organized Konfusion, Eminem, Raekwon,

Ghostface Killah, Pharaoh Monch, Xzibit, The Liks, GFE, Awol One, Glue etc.

He also co-founded San Francisco's world renowned Freestyle Olympics, which

has given birth to some of the most respected freestyle battle rappers in

the country today.

Other credits include: performing on the 2004 Vans Warped tour with

Atmosphere and Non Phixion, appearing on the soundtrack (and on

screen) in the local film Quality Of Life as well as the Bay Area

graffiti documentary Piece By Piece. (PXP Director Nic Hill created

the video for Top R's 'Security Security'.)

Past releases include Donut Hustlers w/ DJ NonPhenom, Burning the

Candle at Both Ends, Legalize Murder; and Cheap Laughs for Dead

Comedians. He is currently dropping his 5th solo release The Marathon of Shame.

"Each (TOPR) track is a anthem of hedonistic individualism, a

contradictory self-affirmation of pride and despair, intense

motivation and ultimate fatalism, all driven by a serious bent to

rap, write (graffiti and get on gurp). TOPR is a reminder of what bay area

indie rap can and should be."
