DESCRIPTION:
This is another poem by Quirky sung to a beautiful guitar track by Tony Reyes..
The Scream of the Butterfly by M. Jones(Quirky)
In the places where Butterflies sleep
Dreams are painted in stained glass windows
Sketched onto silken rainbows and shipwrecks
Sunken by celestial storms
The moon forever shines full
While silent tears fill wishing wells
Broken hearted heroes
Cry into Orion's belt
Milk spills from balconies
Of tired minds arrested
For tampering with the evidence
Stricken from scratched records
The tide has turned tables
Spinning with broken legs
Till the needle comes to rest
In a vain attempt to escape
To an island of hidden alleyways
Run down by wild lunatics
The asylum whispers its secrets
Into the ears of the deaf and mute
Its mutant language is a signal fire
To warn the blind, bleeding hearts, still beating
Torn from buried chest of treasured memories
Jewels lay scattered and robbed
