This pair comprises of a songwriter who weaves clever sentiments tightly into rhyme, standing next to a beatboxer whose human facade is questioned as an orchestra emerges from his mouth.
With an expanding repertoire of original songs, Jamie MacDowell and Tom Thum perform in styles ranging from jazz and funk, to beatnik and hip hop; but it is the on-stage relationship between these two individuals that is most captivating.
Having toured extensively with the Australian hip hop and acrobatic troupe, the Tom Tom Crew, from 2009 to 2012, Jamie and Tom have developed a personal rapport that is as authentic on stage as it is backstage. Their live show is a blend of carefully arranged and well-rehearsed music, punctuated by genuine interactions that highlight how human these two talented performers are.
