Sometime last year I wrote a song which had this melody but I was never happy with how the rest of it turned out.. so pretty much left it on the shelf.
Then earlier this year I was listening to one of Todd Hallawell's cd's, Before My Time. One of the stand out tracks is Leola Kay, which kind of reminded me of my original. So I went back to it & tried to use Todd's song as like a benchmark. Todd was also a great help & took the time to tell me what was working, what wasn't etc, so this is the final result! While it may not be up there with Leola Kay I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out.

Todd wrote the song for his wife, Kay, so since it turns out she has also inspired my one - it is now called Mrs Hallawell.
