DESCRIPTION:
A solo piano version of Gershwin's classic, similar to the arrangement in 'Exploring Jazz Piano Vol 2', but with a greater range of left-hand styles. I also tried changing from 4/4 to 3/4 for a couple of choruses (4:18 to 5.17) - the first time I've done this live, and I'm quite pleased with the result! This performance was part of a solo piano concert at Morley College, London, in November 2012. Thanks to Benjamin Chan for filming.
