Well, I'm a travelling minstrel, songwriter, performer, producer and general trier of new things!
I have been lucky enough to meet and work with some really great people, these include Gary Lucas (of Jeff Buckley/Captain Beefheart fame.)
Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls of The Wonder Stuff, -who have invited me very kindly into their lives and work, to travel, tour and perform with them all over the place.
And Dirty Ray, who used to be Kevin Weatherill, of The Immaculate Fools. (Who has just finished work on "Big World For A Little Man" Produced with Miles Hunt, with various guest performances throughout the album.
Miles is set to help me to record a solo album this year, which is to be released on Independent Records Ltd, in the new year.
"Shared" let me tell you about this project.
It's an on-going recording project, created by Miles Hunt, in order to showcase the talents of little knowns and better knowns.
The idea appears to be "sharing" with one-another, ideas, music, events, know-how.
It has changed my life, and demonstrates the generosity of Miles and Erica, and the Label.
"shared" has released a self-titled album to date, and recordings are in progress for a second volume.
Also, just lately, I'm the Slide/Electric Guitarist for Dirty Ray, when he plays with his Dirty Ray Band.
