DESCRIPTION:
Reverie is one of the last compositions by the great composer/arranger Angela Morley and forms part of her "Suite of Four Pieces" It was originally written for Violin and String Orchestra (not comercially recorded but you can hear it if you search YouTube) It is heard here in her transcription for violin and piano now published by Novello. This clip is from a private house jazz concert ,july 2009
Because I was a great admirer of Angela Morley's work and as favour for me Tim and David had agreed to have a shot at playing the piece, so without as much as a run through,they sight read there way through the piece.This was the result. Video by Alan Spencer Foto
