'Drums, Slums and Hums,' a compelling new eight-track mixtape featuring an all-star cast of collaborators, including Roses Gabor, Dominique Young Unique and Zebra Katz, is due for release on 2nd April.

'Time Out' (feat. Orlando), the introduction to 'Drums, Slums & Hums' takes just a matter of seconds to captivate the listener. Beginning with the curious pattering of electronic sounds, a hypnotizing chord progression draws you in effortlessly, whilst the enchanting melodies and cleverly layered instrumentation washes over you.

'Time Out' slowly burns and progresses without resorting to deceptive production tricks, hooking the listener in with raw, yet subtle vocal emotions of Orlando, a talented Portuguese local. Combining this with soothing down-tempo rhythms, Branko creates a soulful and instantly gratifying modern day pop song.

Branko, widely recognised as the driving force behind Buraka Som Sistema and the label Enchufada, has spun together a hybrid sound that leans toward the dancefloor -- and has earned him the nickname as the Anthony Bourdain of ghetto music as he travels the world pulling influences from a myriad of cultures.
