Regression Session is the latest single by Swedish electronica expert Hakan Lidbo, where he acts out all his subconscious frustrations. His anger against the music industry, the state of the World today, his inner demons and his malfunctioning software compressor. The Radio Mix and it's accompanying video are a piledriving combination of old school Nine Inch Nails styled Synth riffage and big fat modern club bass over a relentlessly swung four on the floor 909 house beat, but the sampled primal screams and fuzzed out distorted breakdowns will probably keep this far out of the average house DJ's Set. Sleazetone records head honcho Chrissy Murderbot, brings out some classic rave styles on his mix proving why he is Chicago's reigning champion of all things too funky, too ghetto and too bangin'. Miffy jumps in the rage cage by contributing a rolling and stomping 119bpm Dirty techno-funk remix. Magnum 38's remix hits hard in a vintage Shitkatapult/BPitch control techno style. Lastly we Have the Original mix by Hakan Himself, a Darker six and a half minute unrestrained and harder more mixable version with a nice and steady intro and outro.
