Tiffany Martinez

Growing up in Bronx, New York, Tiffany Lynn Martinez was born into a Puerto Rican and Dominican household where her father, now her manager, was heavily entrenched in music. His musical background of DJing, mixing and promoting and her fever to be the center of attention combined to form an annoying little girl who wouldn’t stop singing and dancing. As a young child she began performing Michael Jackson hits and tunes from classic Disney movies for her parents, family, and friends or anyone who would watch her. Her desire for music and performing began at a really early age but intensified after her parents divorced.



Tiffany released her emotions and escaped through singing and performing. She credits this time frame for allowing her to find her artistic side. She is an avid poem writer and has been published in local papers and Poem Novels. Her teacher and principal submitted two of her poems and surprised Tiffany with an acceptance letter when her poems were both picked over hundreds of entries.



One day a radio advertisement announced that an agency was searching for young models. Tiffany auditioned and was chosen for print work. However she was quickly disillusioned when she couldn’t do runway because she is only all of 5’ 1”.

Tiffany always realized that singing was her passion and vowed to push herself in that direction. She grew up with all types of music played at home but it was Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey that most influenced Tiffany.



There was one problem; the once boisterous, attention seeking little girl was now a shy awkward pre-teen. It wasn’t until she began to audition for her plays that Tiffany began breaking out of her shell. She was cast in a musical production of Crazy for You. At fourteen she got her idea of a “big break” when she auditioned and got the lead role in a musical production of Cinderella. The little girl who always wanted to be in the spotlight was back and with her father’s help they would do their bests to make her dreams come true. A friend saw her performance in Cinderella and contacted MultiMuzic Ent., who was searching for a female singer for an all girl group. Tiffany became a member of the Heightz, a Latina group combined with singers and rappers. In a matter of six months the group was auditioning for Sony’s Epic Records, Casablanca, and Lou Pearlman. Unfortunately the group disbanded, Tiffany was disappointed but not ready for this to be the end of her dream. However, determined as always her new journey begins.



Tiffany has been busy both in the studio and on the stage. Her album, which has taken on a new direction, is almost complete. With a variety of strong song writers and producers it is sure to be an immediate smash. With strong backing and investors the release date is slated for Spring 2009.



In the meantime she continues burning up the circuit performing from New York, to Florida, Puerto Rico and more. Heavily promoted by Emerging Artist USA, Tiffany can be seen performing throughout the tri-state area on any given weekend. She has appeared and will be featured in many magazines and publications including Latin Impulse, Urban Latino Magazine, E.A. Web TV and many more.



Her strong presence, unwavering determination, and banging hits are the reason her fan base is consistently growing.



Tiffany is destined for stardom.
