About The Label



Kadilac Records was established in 2003 by a young motivated entrepreneur whose dream was to have his music be heard. Miguel Suarez a.k.a “Mike Kadilac,” has a passion for music and has dedicated himself entirely to the birth of his company, Kadilac Records. Today, Kadilac Records has become a reputable and respected label in New York City, as well as the Dominican Republic. Being molded originally only to the likes of Reggaeton and Tropical music, “Mike Kadilac” has a broader vision of where he will take the next generation of music.



Currently, this independent record label is constantly thinking of ways to innovate the industry. Late of 2006, Kadilac counts with two very unique and talented acts:



e.l Monarka – e.l. Monarka made a name for himself in New York City when hebecame one of the finalists in 2007’s Cuervoton competition, sharing the stagewith the likes of Pitbull and Nina Sky. He later collaborated in a unique remix produced by Mike Kadilac with Latin pop superstar Jimena (Artist of Univision Records) titled “Si tu me quieres”. He established early success in the region, topping local underground charts with hits like “Mambo Caribeño”, “Fuego”, “Perdoname”, and “Tiempo de Calor”. In 2008, e.l. Monarka has been working to produce his debut album in what promises to be an intriguing offer. He distinguishes himself with his Urban Caribbean style; a fusion of classical Caribbean sounds with a more modern urban flavor.



Robert D – The young star of Kadilac Records. With only 14 years old, Robert D

has won the respect and support of many of artists within his genre. His first

public performance in the summer of 2007 was an unforgettable statement,

drawing hundreds of people through out the city of New York. In 2008, Mike

Kadilac produced his first official single along with an official music video - titled

“Primera Gial” which was the official introduction nationally and internationally

of the artist. At the moment, Robert D is getting ready to exploit his talent and

become one of the most promising risings stars of the pop/urban genre.

About Mike Kadilac



Mike Kadilac, born in the Dominican Republic is a talented and young entrepreneur within the music and entertainment industry. Starting producing songs to friends and artists around his area while living in the Bronx during 2001. Graduated from Touro College in 2003 with a degree on Audio Engineer and later - Music Business. As soon his accomplishment took place he decided to establish himself as a business person and decided to launch a record label where he only stayed with the most talented artists he was, at that time, working with.



Currently, Mike Kadilac is in the process of taking his business to another and extremely new level.Latin music fans had the exceptional opportunity to see New York’s own Kadilac Records’ superstars in an amazing concert The event took place on November 7th, 2008 at the Lovinger Theater located in

Lehman College, The Bronx, irresistible to lovers of Urban, Pop, and Latin Tropical music. The event’s unique concept combined the incredible talent of Kadilac Recording artists Robert D & El Monarka. The concert was set to be one of the greatest live Latin musical spectacles that New York has to offer, brought to you by Kadilac Records and Flaco Sandunguero Productions.



A concert where each artist was a star in their own right, The evening was

kicking-off with a major introduction backed by La Kalle 105.09's very own AJ “El Kallejero” one of the most popular Dj’s in the New York tri-state area. For this Concert Mike Kadilac Invited past partners within his movement to be part of this great event. -With this one Mike Kadilac has proven he is capable of doing big things under his own hands and proved to be one of the most promising up and coming music producer in the Game.
