Music video for L-FRESH The LION's "Close Your Eyes (ft. Jess Starreveld & Michael McGlynn)" from his debut album "One": https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/one/id858960466

This music video is about love and the choices we make in the name of love. At the foundation of any relationship involving love (whether that be with a partner, family or friends) is the heart, which ignites a connection between two people. But it is the choices that we make that determine the longevity of that relationship.

What choices are you willing to make in the name of love? What will you do when you're presented with something that works so well? Will you work hard to claim and keep it or will you let it go when it gets too hard?

What choices are you willing to make to protect those that you love so dearly? And what happens when you're left questioning whether you made the right choice or not?

Love is complex. The heart is complex. And so is the mind. All relationships (including family and friendships) require work, commitment and balance.

The struggles (both internal and external) that we go through as individuals in the name of love do not define us. They are part of the process. What does define us though is the beauty behind why we tackle and persist through them.

It's a beautiful thing to love with all of your heart.

To love so openly, genuinely and honestly that there is nothing you wouldn't do to feel it for just another day. That's powerful.

It's loving fearlessly; or loving to the point where you are willing to overcome your fears because you know it is worth it regardless of whether or not the relationship survives to see out the day. You'd do it again and again, until the end of time for the person you love.

That's loving with all of your heart and that is SO beautiful. It's beautiful, not because of how strong it is, but how fragile it is. It could be gone in an instant; without warning.

But to give love that kind of love, knowing that it could be gone at any moment, is at the core of what makes life so special.

This music video passes no judgment on any of the questions raised in this post. It simply tells a story.

True love is unconditional, and that's the type of love this video highlights: love for our friends, our family, our sons, our daughters and our partners.
