Jess Jackson is a british producer, songwriter and DJ who has produced for pop artists such as Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Busta Rhymes. In this video, he reveals his vocal mixing secrets using Antares Auto-Tune Realtime.

Jess starts off by walking through a basic Antares Auto-Tune Realtime’s setup, teaching you his go to settings for a polished pop vocal sound. Then Jess invites singer-songwriter AJ Mitchell to the studio and demonstrates recording vocals through Auto-Tune in real-time. In addition to the standard pitch correction processing, Jess teaches you modern production techniques that rely on Auto-Tune such as screw vocals, vocal stacks, and distinguishing vocal stacks through panning and scale detuning tricks.
