Thierry Zaboitzeff's musical spheres have never been soothing. But they have always been filled with hope and longing. He is a musical protagonist who doesn't turn away from the dark parts of the soul and the universe. He doesn't need to, for nothing can really threaten him. His hot heart warms everything he turns his attention to, be it people, harmonies or sounds. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Thierry Zaboitzeff is always open for change and development. Lulling repetitions of one and the same style, which some have used to establish highly successful brands, have never interested him.

About d-zAkord

d-zAkord is an electric band of guitars and basses, created and directed by the bassist and composer Erik Baron from 2000.

The band explores the timbral possibilities of prepared strings, electronic processing and orchestral textures with roots rock and electric.

Besides its own compositions, d-zAkord likes to feed its inspiration with the spirit of other composers. That's why it presented, among other things, its version of the the mythical 'in C' of Terry Ryley and the dreadful "De Futura" of Jannick Top.
