LYRICS

I'm the leader of the lost Expedition
Toward the frozen tundra,
Through the stunted boreal fauna
Cut off, like a road sign by a snowplow,
High above the tree line

Chorus
Do you feel like moving further
From the world's longest undefended border?
Where a bear can trail a drop of blood for miles
Desperate with hunger

Gone the summer sea calls of birdsong and microbe
Hear the frantic axe strikes through the endless moonlight
But still the ice is healing smooth and dull and vice-like
Thick against the hull

Chorus
Do you feel like moving further
From the world's longest undefended border?
Where a scavenger can trail your scent for miles
Desperate with hunger

I'm the captain of the misguided voyage
My sextant blind against the stars,
The frostbite and the stalking paws
You would have your mutiny
But for once I've given you a fear that you can see

Chorus
