Still know the lyrics? You probably do. In 2008, as part of the Project One album, this belter did its floor sweeping with a right dose of hard-hitting bass, mysterious melody and a set of raw vocals. ‘The Story Unfolds’ is one of the last Project One highlights of the Origins project, and marks a very special time in the career of both Headhunterz and Wildstylez.

When the boys had finally finished their monster project and left the studio looking pale and unhealthy - having locked themselves in for about 2 months, they had all the right reasons to celebrate. The Project One album was a real gem for hardstyle lovers, and became a classic in its own right. And so, the Willem and Joram wanted to do an album release party that year. But the night before the big happening, something didn’t go too well.

Willem: “I remember every single minute of it. The night before, I had two gigs in Belgium and Joram joined me. On the way there, my stomach started to ache real bad. I barely made it through the first gig. But the second one was impossible, I literally had to sit down, it hurt so bad. MC Villain took over from me that night, and we went home. Joram and I made the deal that if the pain wouldn’t stop that morning, we’d go to the hospital. I didn’t sleep at all, so we left for the hospital before dawn and it turned out I had appendicitis – my appendix had to be taken out immediately. There was no way that party was going to happen. So, in the end, we did the release party at Defqon 1 a few weeks later, and it was absolutely great. I guess it was meant to be that way, those things happen.“
