DESCRIPTION:
This is a piece of frame by frame animation created as part of an Avant Garde Module in my final year of college. Each frame of the umbrella was coloured in by different people, in anyway they wanted, making it a crowd sourced animation. The idea behind the animation is that every umbrella, in every culture has a different personality, just as every umbrella, in every frame of this animation does.

The animation was created in after effects, each sequence at a different frame rate, getting faster each time and the audio is also my own, also created in After Effects. It is a combination of sounds you would associate with the different cultures/countries you would associate the umbrella with.
