The greek duo Lastraw delivers the next release for 'Us & Them', a firing e.p., with 2 originals and their remixes.
First of the pack is 'Tonite', a groovy house tune with old-school drums, a playful bassline and a clever use of a Janet (you-know-who) acapella.
The original version of 'Far Away' follows, as the beats are getting slower and more in-love with the melodies and the floating string pads. Here we find another acapella, this time from Miss Dianna (not the princess!).
Next one on the remix duties of 'Far Away' is Kosmas, who delivers a driving, acidic monster of a track. It works its way subconsciously peak-time, with all its analog synth glory on top of a midtempo house groove.
Last but not least, we find the 12 Tones remix of 'Tonite', a pretty hot deep/tech house track with rubbery bass, deep chords, piched-down vocal samples and party atmos. Another huge weapon from 12 Tones...
