We have received a couple of questions regarding the Sabbath as a Saturday. We would like to clear up the following with a response we gave someone.

"That's a really good question regarding the Sabbath, and it's something that we also looked into a couple of years ago. You're right the Bible points to the Sabbath being the seventh day of the week which is a Saturday.

It seems as though in the second century it changed. Early Christians changed it from the Saturday to the Sunday for various reasons. That being the case, the Sunday became the day of rest. We personally have prayed and asked the Lord to reveal to us if we should change our day of rest from Sunday to Saturday. We strongly felt that we should keep to the Sunday; Saturday did not feel right.

We also as a nation in the UK, take the Sunday as the Sabbath; Christians worship on a Sunday and generally people don't work. We feel that God accepts the Sunday in the UK as a day of rest. Whether or not that changes when the Lord comes back is another thing, but we shall see.

Personally I would pray and ask the Lord if you should be taking the Saturday or Sunday as a day of rest and go with whatever feels right to you."
