The newest line-up is only a touring version of the band billed as Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper and will not record any new material. The entire line-up also functions as Steve Grimmett.

Founding guitarist Nick Bowcott now works for Marshal/Korg in New York.

In the early 80s Grim Reaper beat 99 other bands in a "Battle of the Bands" contest for studio time to record a demo. This demo is what got them signed for their first LP.

The song "See You In Hell" was used by Bam Margera for part of the soundtrack of amateur stunt/prank/skateboarding video CKY4.
