Another vocalist that gets "swept under the rug," the fabulous Chris Connor. Many will compare her improvisational skills to that of Anita O'Day, and June Christy—this gem is in a class of her own. Although she does have the qualities of O'Day and Christy together, contributing to the idiom, jazz, more specifically Cool Jazz, and West Coast Jazz. She shines brightly with the peppy "Fine And Dandy, and torchy "Don't Worry About Me," released from the Atlantic Records LP "Chris In Person," in 1959, and later digitally remastered in 2001 (Japanese Release) and 2005 (US Release).
